THE WALL AND DECK TREATMENT

RAW WOOD AGE TREATMENT

  • with watered down brown, paint into the corners and lightly over the face

  • water down raw umber, and spray all over the wood. focus heavier spraying on edges and corners, drips / water damage encouraged but not heavily.

THE WALL AND DECK TREATMENT

  • base walls and deck in lightest green

  • with midtone green, evenly apply with wet sponge roller all over.

  • With lightest green, apply in small clouds with a wet sponge roller. This is to prevent the overall treatment from getting too dark.

  • with darkest green, roll in linear clouds with a sponge roller - upstage / downstage, and vertically up the walls. keep edges very soft, feather.

  • With black, roll in linear clouds with a sponge roller, and in smaller / specific areas all over. keep edges very soft

  • with all 3 greens, break up black clouds, and overall even out treatment. it is ok if one sponge roller is used for this final step, the mixture of greens helps unifying.

  • satin seal

THE GOLD TRIM TREATMENT

  • Base in brown

  • sponge roll over in golden yellow

  • paint on metallic gold paint

  • light age / patina with watered down base brown and a sea sponge
