OH, HAPPY DAY!
HOUSE - SIDING
We aged cedar siging with vinegar and steel wool. Ww then applied blue-painted brown paper with glue, let dry, then peeled it off. We did ended up tearing most of the paper off. We then applied crackle paste, then applied the paint, leaving some holidays and buildup. We then aged to achieve a worn, painted over and water-damaged siding.
HOUSE - LATHE AND PLASTER
after aging the wood, we applied a light weight concrete, let it dry, and aged
DECK - DEAD GRASS
Fake grass was cut into patches, then shorn down with sheep sheers to look patchy and walked on. It was stapled to the deck. Jaxsan was applied, then various washes of browns and greys were applied. Rocks and dyed cork were glued in the space between and partially on the patches of grass.
